MV Agusta Brutale
02/02/2014 Filed in: Motor
MV Agusta has introduced the Brutale 800 Dragster. It's based on the "normal" Brutale 800 and shares most technical parts with it, including the 125HP strong triple engine. Differences are mostly looks, but darn ... they did an excellent job. The rear tire has grown to a brutal 20mm wide version. The seat is realy short and they replaced the regular rear fender by a sort of "flying" fender hugging the rear wheel. The overall looks are .... just BRUTAL.
If it were looks only, this would be the most promising bike in 2014. Luckily they also upgraded the electronics, since this was one of the weaker parts of the previous Brutale (according some reviews). Mikuni throttle bodies are operated by the ride-by-wire system, and torque delivery can be adjusted over 4 levels, of which 1 is user programmable (by laptop). Traction control has 8 selectable levels.
Can't wait for the reviews to appear on the web. Who will be the first ...?
Until then, a few more pictures to drool over.
Oh, by the way, this bike isn't mentioned yet on there official website mvagusta.it
